Planning a family reunion or having a special occasion for a group get-together? We have you covered – Family is our specialty at Blue Sky VR! We offer a cluster of upscale accommodations on Stratton Mountain, flexible for groups as small as 8 and as large as 80.
We have 4 units in the Rising Bear Lodge complex spread across the first, second, third and fourth floors. RB411 is a Duplex 3 Bedroom 4 bath unit with a 2 Queen pull out sofa (sleeps up to 10). RB312 on the 3rd floor is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit with a pullout sofa (sleeps up to 6) and balcony; RB210 on the 2nd floor is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath (sleeps up to 8) unit with a balcony; and RB120 on the 1st floor offers 3 bedrooms and 2 baths (sleeps up to 7).
We have a beautiful newly renovated 3 Bedroom 3 Bath (sleeps up to 8) in Hearthstone, which is adjacent to Rising Bear Lodge. We also have a 2 Bedroom 2 bath in Long Trail Lodge (sleeps up to 8) and for those that want to bi in the heart of the Village we have another Duplex in Landmark 3 Bedroom 2 Bath (sleeps up to 8).
Mountain Light Home at Stratton for a very large family & Friends is a very modern home that was recently totally renovated has 6 Bedrooms 7 Baths, 2 washer & Dyers, 2 Stoves and much more (sleeps up to 19).
All units have fully equipped kitchens and comfortable open living space. In addition, we can offer our newly renovated Mountain Side home, Chalet O’ Bear, with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (sleeps up to 12). And Mountain Light with 6 bedrooms and 7 baths (sleeps up to 19).
Enjoy All of the Resort Amenities
All units offer a full range of amenities. The Rising Bear Lodge is situated across the main road from Stratton Village and offers a number of amenities starting with the Great Room offering a grand living room feel with a large fire place and comfortable seating providing the perfect spot to have a glass of wine and socialize or read. Additionally, all units have access to two hot tubs, a heated outdoor pool, cedar sauna, BBQ picnic facilities and outdoor play space and facilities.
Chalet O’Bear located 50 yards walking distance to Rising Bear Lodge boasts many amenities including a private hot tub, sauna, fire pit, outdoor yoga deck and large comfortable common areas inside. For group dining, the house can host up to 24 people.
Sports, Shopping, and More
Your family can enjoy all that the Mountain, the Village and the environs have to offer. In addition to the lodging amenities, the Stratton Sports center operates as a full range fitness center and tennis facility, including courts, indoor pool, weight training, exercise, Peleton spin and yoga studios. Stroll through Stratton Village to shop, drink, dine or treat yourself to an ice cream. For some thrill and altitude, there’s the Mountain bike park or grab a gondola ride for a mountain top Yoga session or a hike onward to the fire tower to take in the views of the pristine Green Mountains and surrounding valleys.
Off mountain, there is even more to do whether strolling in Manchester, exploring Vermont’s quaint villages and historic covered bridges by car or even more beautiful by bicycle, or hiking the hundreds of miles of trails.
