Enhanced Safety Procedures
With the evolving coronavirus, we are taking extra efforts to keep our spaces safe and clean for you. Our cleaning staff have put CDC recommend practices in place. This includes cleaning with EPA registered disinfectants and in addition to typical sheet and towel washing and full wipe downs, now includes removal and washing of bedding covers, shower curtains and other fabrics and particular attention to high touch surfaces for deep cleaning.
We also have acquired UV sanitizing wands to further cleanse counter tops, switches, handles and other high contact areas. Lastly each of our properties have been equipped with medical grade EPA approved air purifiers; one in each bedroom and one in the common area.

Where is Rising Bear?

We had a phenomenal stay in our Rising Bear suite. The condo was spacious and homey, included a fully stocked kitchen, gas fireplace and HD Smart TV! More than this, catching the first lift was easy as pie as we were conveniently located right at the base of the mountain, with all the convenience and fun of the Mountain Village there as well. Complementary Starbucks coffee and muffins in the morning didn’t hurt either. All this said, the highlight for me had to be the moment I plopped into the lodge’s hot tub after a long day on the slopes. You may never want to leave the lodge, but if you do, excellent restaurants and coffee shops abound in the town adjacent to Stratton Mountain. Much to be grateful for!
Our family of 5 stayed over the Christmas weekend and had a fantastic time. The unit itself has great space and was equipped with all anyone could need. Big bedrooms and beds and comfortable living room, all kitchen appliances and the latest TV technology. The building also has plenty to offer with a welcoming common room and the convenience of indoor parking and shuttle service to the mountain (which we didn’t even need as it is so close and an easy walk across the street).
And what better way to end a great down on the mountain than by winding down in the heated pool and hot tubs out front.
Not that we had any problems but the owner was very easy to deal with in terms of instructions and logistics and the staff at the building were also very personable.

I stayed with my boyfriend and his brother for 4 days over New Years’ weekend. The condo was in an amazing location. We were able to walk to Stratton Village and the base of the mountain in 5 minutes. The condo was very spacious, extremely clean, and well-equipped with everything you need. The kitchen has cooking supplies /appliances / utensils and we were able to cook breakfast every morning and dinner a few nights. A nice touch is the free Starbucks coffee and muffins in the lobby every morning! The bathrooms were also good-sized and very clean (plenty of fluffy towels!). The best part was the parking garage connected to the building. We rarely had to walk outside! We also were able to store our ski gear in the storage unit in the basement. There is plenty of closet space and the unit also has a washer-dryer. We loved coming back from the slopes and warming up by the cozy fireplace while watching tv and playing board games! We also loved waking up in the morning with views of the mountains.
Carl was very responsive during our stay. He gave clear instructions on how to use everything in the apartment and even left cookies for us when we arrived! We will definitely return!
