One of the BEST breakfasts on our tour of Vermont! Great choices for meat and non-meat eaters alike!

Worth the drive

Just at the base of the Access road on rt30 next to the future Mindful Water Vt Recovery Spa ( coming in Fall 2025)  . When you pulled up the first thing we smelled was the smoker out front. A great introduction to what’s in store, for you inside. The line can be long one lunch time on weekends  but it moves surprisingly fast. We choose the homemade onion rings -hands down the best we’ve ever had.. our sandwiches the Vietnamese pulled pork was spiced yet full of the other flavors that make it so delicious. The gobbler was served on grilled sourdough with the smoked turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce melded together.  Nice menu with extremely fair pricing. Breakfast menu looked great too. Take it from me in Manchester almost an hour away. Enjoy the foliage, in the Fall or a break from skiing in the winter take a ride and treat yourself to a great meal

Silver Fork

This is one of our favorite restaurants with a large offering of internationally inspired food and wines imported from European vineyards. Melody & Mark French own and operate The Silver Fork Restaurant in picturesque Manchester Village, Vermont. This is  a new location inside the old Mark Skinner Library in the heart of Manchester Village.  They only have six tables and a few stools at the bar, so it’s best to make a reservation.

The cuisine is an International menu that we call “a Menu in Movement”. The Chef makes changes according to his inspiration, what is fresh at the market or what he finds in season,  which means that I frequently update the menu with Chef’s inspirations and daily specials. The selection of wines ranges from the Italian sparkling prosecco to the Spanish Verdejo, along with a number of American wines. Don’t leave without having the  Caribbean Bread Pudding Souffle for dessert. This is an outstanding restaurant, we highly recommend that you make a reservation in advance.
